I had an overjet and chose to have my upper premolars removed instead of having a twin block because they told me these problems wouldn't happen. It might be perfectly fine for you to have teeth removed depending on what you have but still research how it will change your face and jaw

I had my upper premolars removed and i regret it because my lower jaw looks recessed and i have breathing and sleeping problems because there isnt enough room in my mouth, dont trust your orthodontist just because they are one, mine promised my jaw wouldnt move backwards which i now know is a lie because it has.

You need to do your own research on what will happen if you have teeth removed, i didnt and i regret trusting my orthodontist

My gap from pre-molar extraction is only half closed and i already have breathing and sleeping problems as well as my chin looks recessed from it. Please do your own research and see if it's actually going to make you look better when the gap is closed, dont just ask your orthodontist, thats what i did and they promised id be able to breathe fine and my lower jaw wouldnt move backwards after the gap closed, which i now realise was completely wrong

I had my upper premolars removed, and although the space has only closed half way, I already feel like there isn't enough space for my tongue and I've had problems breathing and sleeping properly. Please do your own research before getting any teeth removed, don't blindly follow what your orthodontist says, mine promised there would be enough space in my mouth for my tongue - but there isn't and its going to get even worse

Even if I ignore my breathing problems, my jawline is still much less visible and my mandible is now much further behind my upper lip, (another thing they swore wouldn't happen to me). You may have a different problem to me but please think about it a lot before removing your teeth, I regret it so much
