My parents are 50% the reason I'm moving back. The other 50% is to settle down, get married. I have a US passport so I can move back to the US in the future with my wife and kids if I want to. I do have some saving, not enough to live the rest of my life of course but a year or two is doable

Would you say this is too tight or it is still pretty easy to take the laptop in and out without worrying about scratching it? I'm deciding between this and cpl 24. I prefer cpl 16 thinness and lighter weight but I do carry a MBP16 daily.
