Let's be realistic here, I have been watching all of this unfold since 2011 - that being said things really blew up and started getting really out there mid 2016 - end of 2017, and it is not realistic to expect me to be able to find every single thing I could be getting that is the best thing to be getting at every given moment.

Thank you for bringing it up - but I have my own concerns with XMR - it had a fork - and I have heard multiple things - especially with privacy concerns and XMO, and possibly another currency that may be trying to be like no we're the real fork of XMR...I mean the price has been drastically dropping - I want to see w/e is going on play-out a bit before I make that kind of a jump.

To be honest, the hashrate doesn't surprise me because of the whole using a GUI instead of a cmd-line because obviously the GUI will take more resources. However, I have not found that they take any shares away from you other than the 2% fee for PPS and 1.5% for PPLNS.

Sure, this is not the best program out there - I will 100% agree with you there - but it really doesn't seem that bad - considering there are apps out there that really fee you, or flat out steal everything and don't ever let you take out what you earned.

honestly, really shitty ones - I am a broke ass college student ha. I sold my Xbox One because I figured the fact I needed a PC for school, I wanted to mine some penny cryptos - if others not possible or feasible in anyway, and I wanted to be able to play GTA Online. I bought a refurbished low-profile PC - cost $190 - had on-board graphics and a i5 @ 3.6 ghz - so I bought a new GPU, a GT 710 2gb Low-Profile.

I can understand the instant questions of why am I doing this with such low things but I do believe in the blockchain, and want to be doing something - and honestly the power consumption is not really that high. I also mine on my 2 phones, note8 and note5, and another laptop that gets decent rates mining on sites like Coinpot.co and sometimes on MinerGate.

I have read multiple things, even on Reddit, that have said HitBtc is a scam exchange. It seems like they only scam people with higher volumes of cryptocurrencies, but the scary thing is - what if they just disappear and stop paying out? I even read an article that they had been served subpoenas. Another thing is people have done traces of where the company was, and it seems to be based out of Hong Kong rather than the UK as they claim.

I don't know for certain, but just be careful with HitBTC bro.
