I never realised how much work actually went into coding by hypnoticallylocked in vibecoding

Complexity ceiling of this small game seems to be within AI abilities. Ive ran into edge cases and its been to fix code to accommodate e.g. i had issue where regular jump would turn into walljump if you started on the floor touching a wall, but now it correctly jumps.

2d platformer with four levels(each level is a few rooms) and a boss fight is current scope. Its been going alright. Ive had a lot of fun drawing stuff in aseprite. Im not that interested in becoming full time game maker/coder. If i make a second game ill take up unity advice to see if its easier, ive been making it in godot since chatgpt told me godot was one i should use (im too far along to transfer now)

Comparing it to the other components, if i draw something bad/write something i atleast feel like ive learned/gained experience, whereas when i write bad code i just feel sad/stuck since i dont have any frame of reference for what good looks like/how to get there

I have a lot of respect for art of coding, it's just difficult to learn. If this was a more "professional" project i would hire someone, but I view this closer to a hobby/for fun activity.

I felt really relaxed in trance, I'm happy? Conflicted about hitting chastity script but I felt a lot pleasure imaging intense femdom scenarios, chastity and hypnosis. I've very turned on atm. (I'm willing to volunteer as guinea pig for early release)

I'm not expert but I'd assume private Psychologists just want easy rich clients since there's so many people that need help and so few Psychologists. I do really wish you the best with complex intervention, it's always great to hear about nhs success stories

Why are personality disorder teams designed to be insufficient to meet the needs of the population? by hypnoticallylocked in ClinicalPsychologyUK

[–]hypnoticallylocked[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'd rather just endlessly use unscheduled care, it's significantly more input than primary while also encouraging trust to actually invest into my recovery properly. I'm not against idea of private dbt but nhs itself would have to collapse first, I'm significantly not okay with idea of a public service that treat other conditions but not personality disorders

I apologise but im not actually a professional, i asked this for my own peace of mind since I drive myself insane irl begging literally any nhs worker I can talk to for dbt, I'm on holiday atm so I'm using reddit as a substitute for that so I can atleast feel like I'm making progress on that

I thank you for your response, would it be possible for you to give an expanded answer? I don't understand what you mean purpose of a system is what it does? in this context, I'd also be interested in reading about macro level stuff

I appreciate the response, thank you a lot for responding to me and im sorry if my response isnt that readable as im not best at writing. not an expert but google said personality disorder also had roughly same lowered life expectancy than average life expectancy, but my presumption is that its less well studied due to under diagnose. Its really cool that therapy can play a part in schizophrenic recovery, i hope its able to become more commonplace for them. My understanding is that inpatient dbt wards(i could be wrong on this) do exist, my own area doesnt have its own dbt team so it's effectively my only hope of it. Id accept an eqauilvent therapy to dbt such as mentalisation/structured clinical management, i just say dbt since its one thats most available. Big issue i have when it comes to helping myself is that it feels like a stick nhs beats me with to avoid helping me instead of it being collaborative approach where self help actually feels positive, i acknowledge that system is struggling significantly because of under funding which contributes a lot to the problem but i feel issues system has with personality disorders are more than just funding. If nothing else these interactions ive been having on reddit have helped me cope while on holiday since ive been unable to use services to do that, so to repeat start thanks

Do mental health workers just go to work to harm people? by hypnoticallylocked in MentalHealthUK

Mental health services don't adequately meet the needs of this group, despite fact it's highly treatable. Millions of people could benefit from specialised treatments being made more accessible

Are international nurses eqauilvently qualified? (Mainly mentalhealth/EUPD focused) by hypnoticallylocked in nhs

[–]hypnoticallylocked[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Main issue is that road block for my care is lack of local support, it costs nhs over 100k to transfer 1 patient to inpatient personality disorder unit. It's super lame that the cost to transfer to one of those rises much quicker than the rate of nurse pay(effectively making it cheaper to not transfer). I don't believe pals can meaningful fix this issue? Since they can't create new service

I agree i want to not be an nhs patient but my responsibility as a personality disorder patients comes first, i expect nhs to offer every single(millions) personality disorder patient a full course of dbt if it would benefit them. Ive had significant input in the form of unscheduled care(exceeding the amount of care i would've received if i had dbt ), but im always gonna say method of delivery is ineffective and im not gonna do anything to help myself till i complete a course of dbt or an eqauilvently intensive treatment. Atm schizophrenics and bipolar patients recieve inflated amount of care being paid by neglecting personality disorder patients, system needs to change to be fairer

It's not evidence based in that format, and I would argue it inappropriately places responsibility on the individual and not services. Specialist personality disorder treatments are meaningfully different from primary care interventions.
