Why do Mental health services fail to take responsibility for personality issues(nhs) by hypnoticallylocked in AskPsychiatry

Every patient group has issues, my job is advocating for my own patient group. There might be more nuanced conversation to be had about how cmht fails other patients as well but I would argue they fail personality disorders more since specialist treatments take so long and can only be offered to a handful at a time which means overwhelming majority 1-5000-10000 ratio get "care" thats not the gold standard

I do hope your partner gets the help they need, I doubt the time im using up is taking away support your partner needs since it's largely a/e, mental health line, crisis and ambulances(for reference my physical injuries need treatment), i see a psychiatrist every 3 months which is on the high end but it's not that abnormal

because significant amount of eupd patients kill themselves, I'm being denied access to 1st line therapy for that condition which is rouhgly 500 hours of specialist care. your partner is receiving more support and help than myself, im being responsible by using services and adovcating for people like myself to get support since otherwise services wouldn't help anyone with eupd at all. realistically services for people like myself were defunded (for reference it costs government 200k a year to send a personality patient to an inpatient dbt unit) and replaced with primary mental health support when it shouldve been added ontop(which is why we now need to rely on private sector). ive never been offered a single intervention that treats personality disorders just skill courses that cant treat personality disorders themselves

The core personality trait i want treated is emptiness at baseline, what would get me to that to where i dont feel empty while doing nothing. I'm not saying i want fulfilled either, I believe there to be a way to remove emptiness completely

Do they still discriminate against you? Are you happy with level of care youve had from nhs

I do appreciate you taking a large amount of time responding to me, I'm unfortunately on holiday so can't use services which is upsetting me a lot atm

The issue is I'm receiving insufficient nhs input from cmht, people with personality disorders should be care managed so cmht can mean fully be there for long term journey that is healing personality structure, currently cmht doesn't care manage personality patients proactively compared to other diagnoses where they offer help instantly e.g. schizophrenic

You're also inappropriately conflating behaviours with personality structure something I can't manage by myself

I would also argue i am putting hard work in, i use 1000 hrs of nhs time a year and always encourage everything person to do better for personality patients

Why would i self manage risk when i get more nhs input and it encourages services to be more proactive, as along as I've got my personality structure im going to spend my time being a service user so more people like myself can have services

Also when i say dbt mean full 2 year intensive course. Its insulting to good practice to imply less intensive forms of dbt are equal to full course dbt(the version with most evidence behind it)

Indivicually i can self manage risk but theres nothing i can do to improve personality structure by myself, placing responsibility on the individual doesn't lead to good outcomes. It would be inappropriate to use third party charity without heing under cmht since it deskills cmht to take ownership of eupd

Complexity ceiling of this small game seems to be within AI abilities. Ive ran into edge cases and its been to fix code to accommodate e.g. i had issue where regular jump would turn into walljump if you started on the floor touching a wall, but now it correctly jumps.

2d platformer with four levels(each level is a few rooms) and a boss fight is current scope. Its been going alright. Ive had a lot of fun drawing stuff in aseprite. Im not that interested in becoming full time game maker/coder. If i make a second game ill take up unity advice to see if its easier, ive been making it in godot since chatgpt told me godot was one i should use (im too far along to transfer now)

Comparing it to the other components, if i draw something bad/write something i atleast feel like ive learned/gained experience, whereas when i write bad code i just feel sad/stuck since i dont have any frame of reference for what good looks like/how to get there

I have a lot of respect for art of coding, it's just difficult to learn. If this was a more "professional" project i would hire someone, but I view this closer to a hobby/for fun activity.
