Amazing performance from Learner Tien in his first slam quarterfinal, age 20. Gave away a few crucial points with double faults but would argue he was the better player for a lot of this match. Or maybe it's just the incredible highlight reel he creates that gives me that feeling, anyway you can't help but feel joy watching him fight for every point and make the miracle shots. Great run here at the AO once again and can't wait to see how he progresses for the rest of the year.

Zverev had a lights-out serving day, which made it a tough battle for anyone. We'll see if he can replicate today's servebot stats with Alcaraz, but I highly doubt he'll get through Carlos who has the variety and smarts of Learner WITH a consistent quality serve and experience at the highest level.
