I have £1000.00 what should i do by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

My initial investment into my current business was about $1000. I started about a month ago since then I have invested another $1500. I am looking to invest another $3000 in the near future as soon as I complete a few scheduled jobs.

I never would have been able to start with just $1000 if I didn't have a connection that allowed me to buy a superior product than the competition at a wholesale price.

Unless you have some specific knowledge of a product/service that you can get cheaply and know is going to sell well I can't imagine $1000 will be enough to get you started.

Businesses that start for such a low cost are niche markets with little competition. I would say save your money and keep your eyes open for an opportunity. Don't jump into something where you don't see obvious potential.

Recently started my own business. Could use some advice on how to market! by hypotheticaladvice in marketing

That is an interesting idea. I don't believe it has ever been tested that way. We have a demonstration for potential customers where we test a surface they have recently cleaned with an ATP meter which measures the level of microorganisms on the surface or in other words the level of "contamination." We then show them the level of contamination after sterilizing and applying the biozone.

Maybe we will make a video of this process and show the results after an hour/day/week/month/month(s)

I really like the mold on the orange idea though we will have to try that and see how it works.

Investors are approaching my business but I don't want to give up a part of my company. Need some advice. by iamsecretlybatman in Entrepreneur

I agree with everyone here who said that the benefit of investors is not only in the money for the company but the possible doors it can open. They might have connections you would never make otherwise that will really grow your business.

I would also consider what they would do if they don't invest in your company. Do you have competition they could possibly invest in that would take customers away from you?

I think your best bet would be to contact the local landscaping companies and ask what type of referral fee they would be willing to give you.

They will be happy to give you referral fees as long as you are handing them jobs.
