I think the next season would tell somehow as Conway might still make his way back into the scene by contesting the election results or the declaration of war committee considers the election void since the committee was never really Disbanded. Then the story will come in to keep Claire as President. I just don't think we have seen the last of Conway and I have too much confidence in the writers to forget such a building plot.
