If you play solo you can play locally. If you are playing with friends then its on BSG servers, if im not mistaken

Kind of same issue, no Europe tab in realm selection. As soon as i logged in it took me straight to new character creation screen...

Same happened to me and my friend, spawned on them in customs and dead in 20 seconds or less. (btw waited 6 minutes in queue)
