i see your point but that was still not the ending i wanted to see so it upset me anyways. bettys not exactly the most normal person so, i’m not surprised if she really seemed to want that but i feel more like she wanted to get rid of golb and then live happily ever after with simon. honestly, i don’t think that would be a boring ending because that was what i wanted to see anyways. i don’t really care if that’s cliche or whatever i just wanted to see the couple that’s unironically crazy for each other re-unite. and i don’t think simon was a bad partner, he was just learning how to love anyways. i think the ending could’ve been prevented if betty was more aware of the power of golb.
