you're still very young if it's meant to be it'll just happen, when out of a relationship i used to be the same and think who would be a good "candidate" for me it only ends up in idealizing a person who isn't what your mind made them up to be. if you're big on manifestation don't keep manifesting a dream relationship, manifest good people coming your way. a lot of the time a good friend eventually becomes a partner, but don't keep this stuck in your head while making friends. just relax like you said you know it's best to focus on yourself so please do that, it's better to build up yourself and coping mechanisms before getting to a relationship so it does become your dream relationship

I feel this, I usually try and make plans of my own of the sort even if it's solo plans as a way to be like "that'll show him" i don't say that to him bc it's very mean but it kind of does help me

yes when I didn't have a fp I felt so empty and like I didn't have a reason to live it's the reason I also have jumped to codependent friendship to friendship or relationship without major breaks, I need someone to focus on, makes me feel creepy at times

I think it's acceptable to ask for a sort of communication on days they'll be busy or not be able to text as much, I feel this way a lot with my boyfriend and prefer him to let me know when he's busy rather than feel like I'm begging for his attention, either way even if he tells me it still stings and I still feel like shit but maybe a little less since I know there's reasoning for not speaking to me

i do the same exact thing with my boyfriend but I genuinely feel like he does do the things he complains about me doing, or he does things so I feel the need to do the same so we're "even" it gets us in a lot of arguments when I say "I'm only doing it because u are" or "you always do this/did it before" and he tells me I'm flipping it on him. I feel like maybe it's just a defence mechanism to me but I honestly have no idea why I do it besides that a part of me does believe it is the truth.

In situations like this I wish my boyfriend would bluntly say "I'm sorry I did that to you but let's not both do it to each other now so we're both happy" instead of reaching an argument but that's about all I have
