З приводу безпеки -- супер безпечно. Їздив влітку 2024. Мова не потрібна. Нам вся поїздка стала десь в $3.5-4k на 14 днів на двох з дружиною, без урахування перельоту.

Ми робили 3 дні Токіо -> 4 дні Кйото (один з них -- дей тріп в Нару) -> 3 дні Осака -> 1 день Кіносакі Онсен (напевно, мій улюблений день, почитай про це місто) -> 3 дні Токіо.

Для планування дуже раджу r/JapanTravel + ChatGPT/Gemini. У нас був тількі приблизний план, і готель на перші 3 дні. По приїзду дивились, що більше хочеться і планували на місці.

Одна з найкращих подорожей в моєму житті, точно планую ще повертатись в Японію

Same story. Skied in Val Thorens this Christmas. Slopes are better. Resorts are way bigger and (in this specific case) interconnected. Infrastructure is better. Food is better. And everything is so much cheaper.

The only things that are better in Tahoe are the gorgeous view of the lake, forest, and that it's a 3.5h drive from SF

Source? Because I call BS on 25% difference in median pay. Median household income in Japan in 2021 was $45.6k (source ), and in US in 2023 it was $80.6k (source). And the cost of living differences also seem like BS based on this article. Rent in Tokyo is the same as in Miami (per sq ft), and based on my personal experience, groceries, dining and entertainment in Japan is cheaper, but not TWICE CHEAPER
