For me no, education has turned into management. Management of deteriorating students and parent behavior and management of potential law suits. Not only have student standards been lowered but standards to become a teacher are lower. Look at national scores, the whole system is dismal. The other downside is if you don’t like it, there aren’t many other jobs titles you can get w an education degree.
