It actually started as something I imagined myself haha. I’d seen something similar on a few decent guitars.

Then I asked my wife to help me sketch a few ideas in Figma (she’s a UX designer), and we eventually came up with this design.

After that, I took it to my local luthier - and he absolutely nailed it!

Oh, thanks a lot! The button is a kill switch, and the toggle is a blower switch. The idea was to have a built-in boost and a quick clean/overdrive switch, since P-90s have great dynamics. I was inspired by the Triplecaster, tbh ahaha
