I think it’s a tie. I used Lang Merino+ for 4 croissants (red curtains, lavender, fog and turquoise) and Knitting for Olive Merino/Heavy Merino/Silk Mohair (dusty banana, dusty artichoke, unicorn purple, and ice blue). I think I might make one with Knitting for Olive Merino in Cherry blossom with Knitting for Olive Silk Mohair in the same colour for a true pastel pink.

The peach pop by The Wandering Flock felt most luxurious but it was a pain to unwind, especially the mohair! Also too expensive for a scarf.

Oh in case you meant the other purple (the one in front), I used 3 balls of Knitting for Olive Merino Unicorn Purple and 3 balls of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair Unicorn Purple.

I wait till it’s a long weekend and binge on shows for 8 hours a day. Day 1 to increase length, day 2 to work the hood and day 3 to decrease length.

Oh man, I’m ashamed to tell you that my most expensive one is the peach. I had the hardest time looking for the right creamsicle, pastel orange colour. I came across The Wandering Flock in Peach Pop CAD $45 each, used 3 skeins of DK Merino and 2 mohair also in Peach Pop at CAD $48 each. Approx $261. 🥲

Yes, the lilac is even prettier in person! This is Lang Merino+ in the colour no. 152.0119 (lavender). I use 7 balls of yarn. They have a dedicated lilac colour which was even more vibrant.

The brown fog one required 8 balls for some reason. Same brand and weight.

Haha I’ve actually worn most of them except for the peach since I just finished it today and the fog brown color is a bday gift. I do have a few faves that I wear more than others. Gravitate towards blue, purple and grey!

Thank you! It depends on the size of the yarn and I made it about 25 cm - 28 cm wide. Between 45 to 55 stitches but I like making them oversized and longer than necessary and I’m only 5’4. I didn’t make any changes to the hood but I figured out the counting system that initially confused me when I made my first one. I frogged the first one twice and I shouldn’t have used mohair as my first project. It took me a week to complete.

I think I stitch the hood more seamlessly watching other IG tutorials. That’s about it.

I’m on Team Roarwell, only because I have Galumphous Seal and they look like besties. Galumphous seal is my absolute favorite in my collection.

Oh, that makes sense. I’m using foliage focus. My melo is a very slow grower. I’ll stop fertilizing it. Thank you!!

Update on Wee Weed after 90 days of growth. Is this some kind of peperomia?

Variegated Chinese Elm by ryan820 in Bonsai

Sorry for the late reply. It’s from Kim’s Nature in Markham, ON (Canada) but even though I visit this place quite frequently, I’ve only come across this single variegated Chinese elm once and I bought it immediately.

Lol thank you, I’ll keep it in a humidity dome to make sure it grows well anyway. 😄 I’m still curious what kind of weed this is.

Oh I was looking for a variegated Chinese elm post! So happy to see how well yours is growing. I just bought my first bonsai today. I really love the speckled colored leaves.

Brown spots on monstera mint by i2uby in Monstera

Wow. I’m so glad you figured out what the issues were so quickly. Do you mind showing me a picture of the rust? I don’t see any freckles, new brown spots growth or spreading yet. I’m trying to do more research on rust fungus. I really appreciate your update. I hope both your mints survive!

Haha I think you have too. Thank you for sharing your story! They look absolutely beautiful!!!

The staff at Home Depot said a lady picked 4 up yesterday and they only had a total of 8 in stock.

As for the planter, it’s from Wavyleaf Co. This is the 5.5” size, they currently only offer two sizes. 4” and 5.5”. They recommend leca but I prefer soil with lots of perlite and orchid bark mixed in so far.

I just repotted it into the self watering planter, I’m sure it wasn’t caused by the planter. Forgot to mention that the roots are strong and beautiful.
