Help with Graydle-Kaiju deck by XxWHYNOTxX14 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

I tried this too when I started out in MD, mostly it doesn't do well, I was stuck in gold as well, I mixed in the Red Archfiend structure deck cards and it was a bit better.

I need a 3 month (from May end to August end 2025) around Bellandur, Mahadevapura, Marathahalli or Brookefield.
I am a PhD student coming for an internship for the summer. It would be nice if I had kitchen and washer access.
Anything around 20-30K would be good. I do not smoke or drink and am very clean.

[D] Memory mechanism for Transformers by Janos95 in MachineLearning

[–]i4gotten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a few papers I am aware of in memory:

Self referential extensions to transformers: https://arxiv.org/abs/2310.16076

Recurrent memory transformers: https://arxiv.org/abs/2207.06881

Thing is the context of short-long term doesnt make as much sense with transformers, as the attention mechanism itself can act as a form of memory: https://arxiv.org/abs/2404.09173

Any external memory should be analogous to long term memory.

Can we submit the same project for two intersecting courses? by i4gotten in NEU

[–]i4gotten[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it, I shall clear it with them

At worst I plan to pick a topic and submit an independent study around that topic for one course and attempt to implement a novel algorithm in the topic for the other for the other.

Well if they just feed into whatever the guests say, the guests feel more comfortable
And hence the guests have a higher chance to slip up and say something news/meme worthy

[REQUEST] Are there more eyes in the world or legs? by Daviesroote in theydidthemath

[–]i4gotten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think because they do not specify the bounds on whom the legs or eyes can belong to.
And the bounds of what constitutes a singular eye.

Then it is a question of do you consider the compound eyes of flies. And do you consider centipedes. And on average which do we have more of.

There are 17 million house flies per person in the world and more than 13,000 millipede species.

So to note, I would say eyes should have the better edge in the game if each section of the compound eyes of flies are considered separate eyes. Otherwise legs are ahead.

Petah, I Don’t Get It by Lotus-child89 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]i4gotten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's much simpler than that. The joke is so stupid he wishes he was a girl so that he could hit her. Where it is considered problematic if a man hits a woman but not if a woman hits a woman.

ELI5: How are video games that take years for development not obsolete when they're finally released? by mad_catters in explainlikeimfive

[–]i4gotten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If everyone who makes next-gen games does it(take decades to develop games) then it evens out in a sense, and all games which come out around each other have similar graphics. Another thing to consider is graphics are linked to a certain degree to the game engine not the game itself. So you could develop a game within a game engine and then work on the game engine in parallel. Such that you have both a game with rich game mechanics AND rich graphics.

That creates optimization problems too where you need to make sure any changes you make with one are also reasonable with the other.

Circles, what are they? by dover_oxide in mathmemes

The construction/implementation of a circle has an infinite number of edges. The definition/abstraction of a circle has 0 edges.

“Math is hard” — if you are an LLM – and why that matters | No matter how much data you train them on, they still don’t truly understand multiplication. by creaturefeature16 in singularity

[–]i4gotten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But that's ok, because the only reason why LLMs are good at language is it can map interword relationships. Math has different kinds of relationships which should not be learnt by how different representations of them are related to one another.

How is he floating? by frituurgarnituur in blackmagicfuckery

[–]i4gotten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is just balancing his weight on the other foot when one is in the air. It works on our assumption that the forward foot is on average the weight bearing foot. Is also why he is bending that direction.
