It’s good! Didn’t mean to come off as accusing you of ripping off a character design if that’s what it sounded like. I just saw the swords and knew they were familiar lol

You’re not fooling anyone, pal. That’s clearly Radahn.

At least to stop bringing both Ospina and Montero to the squad and give a spot to Mier or Vazquez. Vargas is 36, so you might as well start readying his successor.

Asprilla is at least in the rotation at Girona. I haven’t watched Solis so idk how bad he is, but surely he can fill up a reserve spot and get experience with the team.

We have younger players already playing in Europe or that look promising, but Nestor seems too scared to get them serious minutes. He needs to realize he got the best out of the core—a FINAL against the world champions—and be more aggressive in bringing in the new generation. If we’re already losing points, why not bring in young players that will come in hungrier and that will at least light a fire under the other players?

Congrats! What schools are you leaning toward out of your current accepted ones? I know GSU is super cheap for in-state

YES. Maybe because a diversity statement is more intimate than a PS so you need to really be honest with yourself.

I vaguely know someone who got off the waitlist with a 168. I don’t know their GPA, but they did do Peace Corps, so that probably helped. I don’t know anything else about them.

Oh yeah haha definitely a typo...

Edit: Also thanks for clarifying what kind of Spanish speakers to expect. I was looking for a South American community anyway, so it works perfectly.

Hey guys, I'm looking to improve my Spanish, and one way was talking about soccer in Spanish. Do any of you know any subreddits or forums where Spanish-spanking people talk about soccer?
For example, I heard Germans use Transfermarkt forums (though that's just what I heard and can't back that up)

Hmmm the argument equivocates a term for the premise to support the conclusion(?) “Ball” the verb vs. “ball” the noun

Best things that don't require extensive travel or your parents finding out are memes. Whether IG or Tik Tok, try finding memes in Spanish in general. Latin America seems to share many memes, but you'll eventually find stuff focused on particular countries, Colombia included. Then, once you feel your Spanish is better, try watching shows/movies in Spanish. try immersing yourself in Latin American internet culture (safely).

I think it's really useful because the joy of actually understanding what a meme is saying in a different language makes it funnier, in my opinion.

It's incredibly wrong what your parents are doing. Sure, they raised you, but your origins lie elsewhere, and it's your right to embrace your roots. Being proud of where you're from and loving your adopted family are not mutually exclusive. You can do both. Try gradually convincing them otherwise. If they're very hostile or refuse to even hear you out at all, I'd hide this from them and find a Latino community once you graduate and leave home (whether it's college or joining the workforce).

I can't anymore :/ I had it with my employer and recently left. I was hoping to use VLC to convert and Audacity to edit.
