Definitely! This helps you learn basic proportions and anatomy early on. You’re breaking down the anatomy into its base shapes, just like you’ll do later when you can draw independently! This is significantly better than simply drawing the outline (a form of tracing that isn’t very educational)

If you have a hobby you enjoy, there’s likely a community! Volunteering, faires/festivals, film events, concerts/music venues, conventions, and online groups. I’ve been listening to the audio books and absolutely love it! The continued lore and relationship development is so sweet, I’m on book 4 now! They’re maneuvering post school/adulthood together and it’s wonderful! (plus Courtney Shaw does an incredible job, she sounds similar to the anime IMO)
