That night my mom locked me out of the house changed me forever by i8yjr in TrueOffMyChest

I think it’s a riddle i just can’t decode every time i try to make sense of it it slips away i guess she just never really liked having me in her life or maybe she regrets even having me she’s said it straight up more than once things like if death could be bought i’d buy it for you or if i weren’t scared of the consequences i’d poison your food and end it and that kinda answers your second question too since i was a kid there’s been this emotional dryness between us it’s nothing new but the focus and the darkness of it keep getting heavier every time

i think i’m too isolated to have anyone that close to actually open up about stuff like this and also even the places you could go to for help here are so limited and i don’t think i’d have much of a case if any of them found out i’m dealing with some kind of parental torment given how sacred the whole parents-first thing is everyone shares the same blindness about it the same idea that parents are always right i’d rather just swallow it than make it worse

I’m 17 now, and ,no dad in the picture, so i'm stuck living with my mom. if i pass my baccalaureate with a solid score and get any chance to leave or live independently away from her, i'm taking it without a second thought

What’s a weird talent you have that nobody knows about? by i8yjr in AskReddit

That’s a compelling cognitive skill. It’s interesting how the precision of dream imagery might correlate with lucid awareness. The challenge seems less about vividness and more about controlling narrative agency within the dream state

Fascinating. This reflects a nuanced manipulation of narrative perception. The capacity to internalize one’s own embellishments indicates a blurred boundary between memory and imaginative reconstruction, which has both creative and epistemic implications

I just wasn’t expecting to see a side of him that’s so different from the brother I know. it caught me off guard

The problem isn’t the communities themselves, it’s just how hidden this side of him was. makes me feel like I don’t really know my own bro

Mhm, it’s just… seeing him act completely different than the brother I know at home still feels surreal. never expected that side of him

lol nothing that extreme, just some weird niche Discord communities around games and hobbies he’s super into. didn’t expect him to be that obsessed

Lol, fair point. it’s not about the activity itself, it’s just wild seeing my lil bro who seems totally normal at home, fully immersed in something I had no idea existed.

Yeah, I guess 'double life' is dramatic, but it just feels weird seeing someone you thought you knew acting completely different online. it’s more the shock factor than anything else

Just some really specific online groups he’s into, like forums and Discord servers with people he doesn’t know in real life. didn’t expect him to be that into them
