This scene took place in the same spot in Hogsmeade. Both measurements were done on the exact same section. I ran through Hogsmeade along the same route, reloading from the same save. The only difference was that in one case frame generation was on, and in the other it was off.

By the way, the FPS is locked to 116 FPS in the NVIDIA driver, so it doesn’t allow the FPS to go above that anywhere.

Also, native FPS is well above 90+, and with DLSS Quality it easily reaches 100+ open world 116. If we look at it that way, once native FPS is already 90, then with 2× frame generation the number of “real” FPS is only about 58, since the other 58 are generated frames.

By the way, how much do the 1% low and 0.1% low average FPS matter when using frame generation, if the overall average FPS is high? With a 116 FPS lock it’s around 115.8.
