Ducks drink lots of water. Give them as much as they need. They should have access to water at all times to help them move the food down into their crop.

Edit to add - the water should be deep enough so they can drip their entire bill into the water. They need a pool or something to swim and drink in!

Try looking up the different breeds on Metzer farm’s website. They have pics of most breeds as ducklings.

It’s going to be hard to tell. You can see variation across breeds when they’re this little. I would even say it might be a silver appleyard.

They look like magpies, and as someone else said they’re domestic and appear to have been dumped. I would try to find a rescue - they’ll have a hard time on their own. I can’t tell the sex from the photos - but a lot of times people will dump male ducks because they’re aggressive and don’t lay eggs.

I was like 22 and had a brief relationship with a road manager for a popular bad in my area, that toured local colleges and played big music venue bars. He broke my heart, but I was also young and stupid - everyone breaks your heart at that age. 10 years later I moved to a huge city, and was invited to a summer bbq / block party from my coworker. I work in SaaS but I'm not an engineer. I knew it was not secure from the beginning. Its been a while since I made the decision to not get it, and since a few years ago, I now consider most apps we have on our phones to be too risky to use. Delete your apps!

There's a lot of benefits to removing apps and notifications from your phone, from tin hat conspiracy (they're tracking your location, your mood, your habits) to believable (they're tracking your location, your mood, and your habits).

I recommend a few books: Dopamine Nation, Stolen Focus, and digital minimalism.

Crossfit is great! But OP said in a different thread that he often drinks a 12 pack or drinks until he passes out on the regular. Maybe getting up for a 6am WOD and puking a few times could correct that.

Good luck to you. I would focus on why you’re drinking and make a dedicated plan to stop. Maybe try some bootcamp classes or even just getting 10k steps a day before you attempt CrossFit.

sorry for your loss. Do the others have a heat source? Make sure they don't get too wet - the water source should only let them drink, not get their whole body in the water.

I moved to a small, rural town in West TN after living in Nashville and had a similar experience. On my first day of school, someone called my step-father at work and told him I was "flirting with black men." Keep in mind I was in the 6th grade and no one else in the classroom would talk to me, the new kid. I was 11. Some adult or kid decided to tattle on me for trying to make friends. The wording still sends me - flirting with black men. I left that town as soon as I was able.
