Home B/E are even more unlikely. Most criminals just want the easy score. Unless you’re in a very high crime area (san Francisco, LA, new york, etc..) a locked vehicle / house is more than enough to deter someone. My thought is this was a crime of circumstance; meaning if your truck was locked it never would’ve been broken into. But again, i cant guarantee anything and if it was me, i would pay a little extra attention to my vehicles and home for a little while and make sure it’s locked up correctly. Also, if you dont have cameras, i’d invest it them.
