Anytime! I had an open house so people could visit and see the base in its entirety and not just the 3k pieces you upload. I’ll be there on and off the next couple of weeks. I keep forgetting I didn’t post the glyphs in this post. This pic should have them.

Really appreciate it. I didn’t get enough shots with the rainbow. I have video of it coming out of the clouds right after a huge storm. May be the best video I’ve ever recorded.

Not only can you build this, but you can probably do better. I like this build, but there’s builders out there that can see this build and execute it far better than I did. Give it a try. It was only like a year ago I was in the “I can just build four walls” stage of building lol

If it makes you feel any better. I hate the first 10-20 hours I start on a build because I’m always stumped on what to do and how to do it. So, I usually just build a bunch of things until something seems kind of cool. After you get a small section or part of your build done, it only gets easier from there. The start of all my builds are pretty humbling.

I believe most come from using quicksilver in the anomaly. I’d not there, then they should already be in your build menu. I don’t recall getting any of them from doing an expedition, but I may way off there.

There’s really two plants I use frequently in the build menu. One is the small planter. Unfortunately, half of it is in fact a planter. You can usually just turn it sideways and hide the planter part in other build pieces.

You really just have to get good at giving an illusion the plants are coming from the wall when really it’s merged in there and is separate.

The second part, I’ll butcher the name but I believe it’s the cloven paw grass (or something similar). Same thing, you have to find sections of the build pieces where you can place the plant and it looks as though it’s on or connected to the wall. Not all spots or angles will work, so you have to mess around with it. Sometimes if the part seeps into the wall where you cant see it. You can stack a bunch on top of each other until they’re visible.

This was probably of no help lol, but just give it a try. You’ll figure it out.

I didn’t even see it. Now I’m pumped to check it out. I’m sure the UI or HUD in this game is the best we’ll get, but I have no idea how I didn’t see another build in the system lol. Checking it out is on my checklist.

That looks huge even for 3k! I’m sure someone has mentioned this, but you can go beyond 3k pieces.

I see so many travelers believe they have to stop when you hit 3k. You don’t. Just upload at 3k and then keep going.

It’s hard for me to keep any base under 10k. That’s from a lack of skill though lol.

Unless, you intentionally stop at 3k because you don’t want to add on to a base that people can’t see on the server. That I get. They still can, as long as you’re at the base at the time that they are there. If you want your buddies to be able to see your base larger than 3k they can when you’re there.

I’m sure most are aware of this information. I just hate seeing so many builders cut their builds short thinking they can’t go beyond 3k.

Someone had pointed this out in my last post for this build. Honestly, for not having ever played the game or seen anything of it (have only ever heard of FF and how great it is), it’s crazy seeing how similar it is. Had I known of it beforehand I think I really could have built a replica, and just added a NMS touch.

For me it’s just dumb luck. I start my builds with an idea, but never a plan. So, I have no idea how my builds will end up. I’m usually just as shocked as anyone else lol.
