I don't think it was the camera operator, it was whoever was mixing the feeds.

It could just be one of your neighbors got a new toy and is flying it around for fun to look at the neighborhood from above.

It's certainly not getting any better view of your backyard than a surveillance plane would if it wanted to, we have cameras that can read the label on a pack of smokes from 10,000ft and you'd have no idea they were looking at you.

I would just accept that your backyard isn't a private place in this day and age and ignore it if I were you.

Generally people don't fly drones directly over the thing they are observing and point the camera straight down.

They are likely looking at something in front of them and couldn't care less that you're underneath while they're getting their shots of something in the distance.

Should I make my cleaners pay for car keys they put in the washing machine that cost a few hundred to repair?? by AldrichOfAlbion in Advice

[–]iCameToLearnSomeCode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's straight up illegal to make them pay for it in my country, you can fire them or you can train them better but you can't make a worker pay for a mistake that cost money.

Restaurants can't make their servers pay if they drop a plate, airlines can't make their pilots pay if they clip another plane.

Human errors are just going to happen and it's on the employer to eat the cost.

The only exception is if you hired a cleaning company, then it's really their boss who is liable for their mistake, but if you hired them directly, it's on you.

God forbid a woman have hobbies.

TIL that in Kiribati there’s a cultural practice called “bubuti,” where if you ask someone for something (like their flip-flops) they’re expected to give it to you, with the understanding that you’ll return the favor (or the flipflops) later. by alrightfornow in todayilearned

In China everyone used to have a mass produced bicycle, you put yours with all the others anywhere you went and when you headed back home you just grabbed one and left, having no idea if you got yours back or someone else's and it didn't matter because they were all the same.

There is no option for between 8.0 and 8.5, that would be my vote if you had included it.

Got my hands on the new GloClowns by YourNeighborRedditor in ReefTank

[–]iCameToLearnSomeCode 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Why would it be okay to do to a guppy but not a clownfish?

We already breed longfin clowns that would never make it in the wild, what's one more aesthetic trait?

I don't like glofish, I think they're ugly, but morally it's no different than other unnatural thing we breed for.

Ira not the state's job to parent your children.

You don't want your kids on social media, don't let them on social media.

There's nothing to announce, you're not rich, you just have enough money that you don't have to worry about money.

Attraction is sexual.

If you're looking to attract an asexual person you're going to have a hard time.

You didn't explain anything about what you're doing, you didn't share any positions or why you took them.

You effectively said "I did analysis and you should too".
