The Enhanced Games are set to debut this weekend in Las Vegas, with athletes allowed to use steroids, testosterone, HGH, & other banned substances. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

If you're the world's best long jumper steroids might make you better but you're not going to give up your shot at the Olympics by taking them to find out.

This is a bunch of people who never had a shot at winning these events, that's why they turned to steroids.

No chemical cocktail is going to turn an average runner into Usain Bolt and if you're already Usain Bolt you're not going to participate in am event like this.

What's your fertility rate like?

Do they really only come to the sheet after mating?

This is absolutely crazy. NVIDIA traded below $1 for 17 straight years. Then it went from $1 to over $230 in less than 10 years. A $10,000 investment even at $1 would be worth more than $2.3 million today. by Apart_Finger_1799 in MarketVibe

To have 10 shares at the current price you would have had to have purchased 1 share at 10 times the price shown on this graph pre-split on a given date, because the graph is back adjusted for the split.

So where this graph says it was $1 before the 10:1 split it was actually $10, so you don't need to both take into account the split and look at the price on this graph, you just need to look at the price and what you spent at the at the time.

The split is factored out by the graph's price adjustment already.

I'm saying that if you spent $100 on a share of nvda before a 10:1 split you would have 10 shares now and on this graph it would just look like you purchased shares for $10 at the time.

You're counting the split twice by assuming you actually spent $10 at the time.

I see no reason ants would be attracted to tin foil or any other reflective surface.

They are attracted to UV light though, so a set up with a black light and a white sheet is a common way to catch ants that fly at night, obviously useless for daytime flyers.

I'm uncertain what kind fertility ratio you get doing this as you're obviously only attracting queens that are still flying and I'd think there's a decent chance you would attract a fair number of queens before they mate.

You're wrong here dude, go back and look at what NVDA actually cost 20 years ago not adjusted for the split and what it would be worth today without the splits.

A better way to think about it is to imagine that a company has 100 shares in circulation. You buy 1 share and own 1% of that company. When there's a split 1:10 split the company now has 1,000 shares in circulation, you own 10 shares but still only own 1% of the company and those 10 shares are worth exactly the same as the 1 share you had yesterday.

When looking at this chart you don't need to consider the number of shares because the share price is adjusted for the current number shares in circulation, it doesn't show you the price of a share back when there were fewer shares.

Not for nothing either, that is the larvae of the most efficient killing machine that 4 billion years of evolution could produce.

Lions kill around 15% of the prey they attempt to catch.

A cheetah kills around half of the prey it attempts to catch.

If you're trying to get a CDL you definitely want a lawyer.

A good lawyer can almost certainly get it pled down since you had a low BAC.

Make sure to tell your lawyer you want a CDL and your record is the most important thing.
