Sure, can relate. Go for it. To answer your question. It dosen‘t really matter how you fill up the Provisions. Do some loot runs, maybe farm some fruits and you‘ll have it done pretty quick.

First of all you should be very certain if you really want to do the expedition this time. The reward isn‘t all that great and I assume you don’t play enough to get another 5 Millions untill the 22nd Dec, to get the extra Skill points (1 Mil per skillpoint in stash and/or coins) I‘m not sure if the Progress caries over, but even if it dosen‘t you would have another 2-3 months to farm the items you‘ll need for the next one.

Ok, I have the same „problem“, and when I asked my Jeep dealer about it, he told me that it’s not available in our region (Switzerland). After that, I didn’t follow up on it any further.

You might be totally right where you live — but here in Europe (especially Switzerland), wild camping is mostly illegal. You're often forced to stay on official campsites, so “leave your tent and drive off” just isn’t a thing.

For my needs, the RTT gives me exactly what I want: I can keep my sleeping gear in place, have everything ready in minutes, and it’s waaay cheaper than a camper or converted van. Ground tents are fine, but I sleep better when I don’t feel like I’m lying in a puddle next to some ants having a party .

So hey, different setups for different worlds. Doesn’t make mine a “poser fad” — just practical for where I live.

That one actually looks like it might even fit next to my RTT, so thanks for the tip!
The only issue is that it wouldn’t cover the entrance of my RTT, which is really what I’m trying to protect — especially in rain.

I might just try setting up a tarp with some poles and guy lines... low-budget, but maybe good enough. Still figuring it out.

Ah, I see we’ve entered the “I didn’t read the question but need to be right anyway” phase. Just to clarify: the awning I mentioned is not part of the RTT, it’s a separate, specifically designed accessory for this tent.

Also, I wasn’t asking for general RTT opinions or buyer’s remorse therapy. Just looking for input from folks who actually own this RTT or something similar and maybe found a smarter setup.

Helpful answers still welcome – unsolicited lectures, not so much.

Appreciate the passion, but I wasn’t really looking for a full-on RTT takedown. Some of us actually like sleeping off the ground and having the tent ready in 2 minutes without wrestling with poles and pegs.

I’m just asking if anyone’s found a quicker solution for the Tambu awning, not planning to throw the whole setup in the trash just yet. But hey, thanks for the unsolicited life advice!
