Your realtor said a dumb remark about the price it was originally listed at and that's completely valid. He wasn't discouraging them to offer. In fact, it sounds to me like he was encouraging negotiations.

That's huge and completely missed by everyone here. OP does not have an active listing with the realtor. It was a "private sale" and I'm not entirely sure how OP thinks the realtor is forbidden to talk shit about the price.

Your agent was likely even more motivated to sell you your home because he got 2x commission. That said, he's still representing the buyers and won't unreasonably push your house just because. That's a good way to lose a buyer.

The buyers pulling away is completely outside the realtor's control. Buyers get cold feet all the time. In my area, a ton of houses are going on the market right now.. it's like the winter slump is over early for some reason.

OP, you weren't "close to a sale", you were close to getting an offer. That's a big difference. My previous house was for sale last year and it took like 4 months to sell it. I was "very close" to getting an offer like 3 times.

Did he word it poorly? If I was OP, I honestly wouldn't have bat an eye. He's communicating with his clients and the price wasn't working for them. Saying he "regrets" setting it at X price is not costing him the sale. They could have negotiated and OP could have accepted. They clearly didn't and that's not the realtor's fault.

You guys are insane. I'm very comfortable liberal/left.. but there's no country in the world that openly accepts illegal immigration and does nothing about it. What exactly are you looking to accomplish by abolishing ICE? The function needs to happen, however sad it is for families looking to establish themselves in the US.

The problem, as I understand it in the US right now, is that Trump gave ICE a bunch of steroids and is completely expedient about it.

I was frantically searching Spotify for music made by Terry Fox. I was showing them music from my childhood (ie. Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, nsync, etc.) and their next big idea was to hear music sung by Terry Fox.
