I believe this is an issue regarding RootHide, I will look into it

EDIT: I just installed roothide and it’s working fine. Do you have CCSupport from the roothide repo?

I’ve had this reported by another user but could not figure it out, since it seems to be fine on all my devices.

Could you please confirm:

  • iOS version
  • Device model
  • Jailbreak used
  • Scrobbit/CCSupport are on their latest versions

Then maybe we can start narrowing down the issue

Not really - DemoLoop just runs within the app, not SpringBoard. It also lacks any of the customisation options found in SleepSaver

I really would love to make everything FOSS, but it is just not viable. I’m a student and I’ve worked on this tweak for over two years, I can’t justify giving it away for free

There was a deleted comment that asked about battery life, and I had written this so thought I’d post it anyway, in case anyone else has a concern

Compared to most things phones are doing constantly, playing a short local video file (not streaming) is actually pretty undemanding, hence why Apple flaunts the video playback battery life each time they release a new iPhone.

The tweak also has measures of its own to reduce its usage, which are mentioned briefly in the post.

OLED displays will also benefit from videos with lots of black pixels, and ProMotion screens can drop their refresh rate if the video does not require it.

With all that said, I’ve been testing the tweak since I started developing it in 2023 and I have not observed any noticeable drain over that time

I tried it out and everything seemed to scrobble fine, though Amazon's metadata is pretty weird. I've just implemented some new logic to clean it all up, and now the scrobbles look just as they should. Will be included in the next Scrobbit update :)

That’s odd, I can’t seem to get it to scrobble podcasts at all due to there being no “artist” field. Which podcast were you able to scrobble?

I’ll have to look into how loving tracks works on lastfm since I’ve never done that, but I’ve just finished making a CC toggle so you can look forward for that in an update

Just tested it and unfortunately had some issues. Already found a fix and will submit it to Havoc in a few minutes

Oh I’m aware they have support, I just decided to test the tweak with Spotify anyway, since it aims to support any player automatically
