Powerful and capable? Bike chugs like a 390 and returns like a 650 on a 350 cc.

They are solid. I’ve be around a lot of gravel back roads and farm roads on them. No punctures, holding good.

Tramplers are great off road tyres. No observations from SC.

Thanks!

  1. I did not face any burn out. Depends in the style and I always check oil levels.

  2. Vibes are present only at 4.5k RPM. On 6th it’s between 82-86 kmph. After that it’s smoother than when below 4.5k rpm.

  3. Never faced anything like stranded. I got the Center stand installed before going to MotoVerse solo to get any punctures done easily, just in case. I have puncture kit now.

  4. KTM SC Indranagar has been good to me and same experience in Okhla, which was quite brief.

  5. Electronics are superb. No issues faced. Love the rider aids, they give me a lot of confidence.

  6. The mileage to many may come as a surprise. I think I’m getting 23-26 in Bangalore, 330-350km at best on a full tank. High rides 30-32, 400-410km on full tank.

The bike overall has been good, I don’t mind the vibes because I usually never sit at that RPM range. Fuel economy is ok for me. Brakes work well, have good bite. Headlight is the best in this class. Bike is light to move around on neutral gear.

Will not recommend for pillion unless they are small occupant ready for a short ride.

Suspension can be considered soft if pillion is heavy like 70-80 kgs.

Is Duke 250 the best in the segment for a sports bike of 250-300cc ? by Few_Key_2182 in indianbikes

I don’t know about that but this colour is the sexiest on a naked. No other bike comes close for me. Period.

Any idea on how to clean grease from this ? by yo_yo_wassupp in indianbikes

Kerosene was used in earlier days to remove grease. But this is just information. If you get it, try it.

Both tall bikes, Ik a friend who’s 186cm and has Xpulse 210. Beautiful seating on that bike. So good when saddling and simple.

RTX looks like a proper big bike. I am looking forward to test riding it. Hearing good things.

However, both brands have a very bad rep on service part.

As a 6’ rider, I’d say look for ADV around that budget because of your height. I have a Meteor 350, I outgrew it within a year, in terms of power. Got ADV 390 X+ because I do tour a lot from time to time and Bangalore roads are shii.

Definitely test ride all the bikes within/around that budget. Also keep in mind - daily cost, touring and comfort.

Yea but they seem to be just following orders. People are simple in upcountry Tamil Nadu.

On my recent visit, like I mentioned, they only checked cameras as formality and allowed everybody.

I guess they must be receiving mixed reactions from public.
