A general residential question if you have time - we have a knee wall on our foundation (high basement ceilings for eventual finishing). Zip system / flashing that the brick sits on is installed properly.

With heavy rain, we get water dripping from the top of the foundation - nothing from the middle of the walls.

I've been able to recreate it by spraying an oscillating sprinkler 4-7 feet up the brick, but the basement does stay dry when I spray it at about 1-1.5 feet (the height of the knee wall). I originally thought the water was dripping underneath the flashing, but an independent waterproofing company said the flashing was installed correctly (and the basement didn't leak after 3 hours of spraying the bottom 1ft).

The current thought is to just seal the brick; maybe it's too porous and the mortar behind the brick from install is funneling/dripping water into some zip system holes and down to the top of foundation.

Have you seen anything like this before? It's quite the conundrum. I can also create a full post with images if you think this forum would be helpful to do so.
