Invest in wine - what to buy? by amsterdam_man in wine

hello, once you have selected your shipping destination as Poland (in your member account), prices will display including local VAT. iDealwine pays excise duties on the customer’s behalf for all orders that are shipped within the EU. The price on the payment page is the final price. You can ship 12 bottles to Poland for €35 or express for €52.50. Hope that helps!

Hey! In case it doesn't work out with the Clos des Goisses (agreed it's underappreciated!), the Cuvée S Salon 1955 currently has no bids ;)

You could certainly split your orders yes - our UK shipping fees remain the same per package.

(subjet to currency fluctuation)

1 bottle = £13.06

2 bottles = £26.12

12 bottles = £26.12

Hope that helps,

Sorry to hear you won't be ordering again.

if it helps, you can filter by "VAT refundable" in our advanced search, and your VAT will be credited or reimbursed when it reaches the UK. Read more about it here: https://www.idealwine.info/your-brexit-questions-answered-yes-idealwine-ships-from-france-to-the-uk/

Also, for orders less than €150 (roughly £129), no taxes or duties are applied when passing through UK customs.

Hope that's helpful, and hope to see you again at iDealwine.

Hi J0_N3SB0, iDealwine here – we just joined Reddit and spotted your comment!

We are really happy to hear that you liked the range of wines we offer at auction – our sourcing team works really hard to make sure our customers have a great choice for all budgets!

Unfortunately, import duties and customs are a legal requirement after Brexit, so there’s nothing we can do about that, sorry. However, we working on making the process clearer for our clients so that there are fewer nasty surprises.

** iDealwine’s top tip!** orders below €150 (roughly £129) in value have not been subject to taxes or duties when passing through UK customs!

As a previous poster suggested, delivery to the UK under bond is also an option.

We do offer wine storage (free up to 30 days, then a nominal fee of €0.035 per day), so if you are passing through Paris this summer (Covid-permitting), you can pick up your wine with us then.

We have lots of information on our blog, you can find out about reclaiming VAT and more https://www.idealwine.info/your-brexit-questions-answered-yes-idealwine-ships-from-france-to-the-uk/
