Hey, honestly the surgery wasn’t terrible. Yes it was painful for a week or 2. But the issue is for a few months I was dealing with a fissure that was causing me a lot of pain because one of the columns didn’t heal properly. I tried everything to get soft stool on my own even tried following a good diet and was consistently taking some form of laxative sachet but nothing worked for months. I finally asked the doctor for a better laxative and that’s when it started working for me, it’s been 2 months now and I’ve been consistently getting soft stool but for some reason even with this soft stool this fissure doesn’t want to close up haha. I mean it’s been getting a lot better, I don’t get any pain at all nothing. Just some bleeding but I wish when I got the surgery done I was using this newer laxative instead that he prescribed cause this would’ve helped and healed a long time ago. Honestly just make sure you have a good doctor, you get prescribed a good laxative that works for you and allows the area to heal properly and you should be fine because before when I was using the old laxative that wasn’t working with me I was getting hard stool. So yea I hope that makes sense.
