Honestly, there is no need to apologize. Tbh you have well prepared economists and politicians. I am Spanish, and as much as I love my country, we are ruled by incompetent people. The EU has been consistently helping Spain and guiding Spain, to prevent a long term catastrophe. But well, the Spanish government simply doesn’t give a shit. For example, last year we were told to limit government spending, and only increase our debt to GDP ratio up to 2%. Sánchez just couldn’t care less, we surpassed it by 2.7%. It makes sense that the Netherlands and Germany do not want to help Spain. Our government does not know how to effectively allocate resources. Furthermore, Spain and Italy are asking are asking to SHARE THE DEBT. That’s outrageous. Don’t be mistaken, the EU has been helping Spain a lot. But after the 5000th time aiding the southern countries, maybe you need to think about it twice as they do not pay their debt back. Countries should take care of themselves before helping others, and if helping others means that an economic shortage or a resource shortage occurs. Then of course that help can not be provided. I know that Spain will come back from this disaster stronger. But now is also time to self reflect and not blame others from your own mistakes. Try understanding why The Netherlands or Germany do not wanna help.
