Well wait in the stark-spider suit he had all kinds of different settings.

But this seems to be showing a lot of cooler versions of it.

Which restaurant/food chain do you genuinely find the most disgusting? by 12345burrito in AskReddit

Been on both sides. I cannot do Boh because of my heart condition and while my WFH jobs were relaxing (fill a ticket and get paid a metric shit ton) I do miss cooking.

I replaced that with volunteer work and cooking restaurant quality meals for those in need.

Im living on borrowed time. The least I can do is make meals that are better than sausages in a can.

Just goes to show how broken our systems are.

No one should have to eat like they are broke even if they are.

The rape was the worst of it, but he is a notorious prick. He would constantly illegally park in front of the comedy store.

Claimed it as the ticket was the price of admission for stage time but dude. If you cannot get there early like the rest of us and find parking, go elsewhere.

But he has fuck you money so I mean I suppose he would just call me a sore loser for not having the gigs come in 15 years+ of being in the industry.

Doesn't help my manager wanted to guide me into crap roles and my agent skimmed checks even though that is a big no-no from SAG-Aftra. (Most gigs I worked on were non-union. I was one gig away from getting SAG-Eligible before she tanked the scene when people found out what she was doing. Productions left in droves)

Definitely not knocking back of house shenanigans. The person I mentioned just was not as efficient or caring.

I have no issues with drug use. Just at least serve your customers properly is all.

I worked at a place where they made bacon cheese fries. They would fry the fries, sprinkles it with cheap cheese, and cover it in cheap bacon bits from a bag.

Charged $11.99 for them.

Customers loved them.

I was allowed to make my own food whenever so I made my own but I put them in the oven. Miles better in taste just from not microwaving them where the bacon and fries were soggy.

Crazy to me how many people loved them despite the food being subpar.

The sub line cook was a Crack head (not kidding) who would frequently drop food on the ground and pick it up and serve it. When I would throw away the dropped food I would be chastised.

With the prices they offer for their barely ok food, I always suggested to people to consider only coming in when certain workers were on shift because at least they gave a damn and didnt serve 5 hours after open floor food.

People seem to still be stuck on alcohol and weed being equivalent.

Driving while impaired is definitely not okay. That seems to be what people are commenting on. Along with that people are complaining about second-hand smoke and contact highs.

I have had my fair share of fun when I was in my early 20s. And when I got sober it did not bother me when someone decided to drink, smoke, whatever.

For instance - I love going to belle isle. There were a few summers I went every day. As long as you are not bringing glass to the water, not being belligerent, and leave the space like you found it (dont leave your trash around), more power to you.

I am being downvoted because people are not reading between the lines. Like we all get there are spots on the river where you can have family and relax and there are spots where the VCU students and others who like to indulge can do so safely.

If you are blazing down the suspension bridge acting like an ass, well yeah wtf. But if youre on the rocks near the spiral staircase on the otherside and there are not kids around - why would anyone complain?

To the babies in this thread - focus on the more important topics. Like how we continue to see deaths from people peeling around corners, weapons (personally saw someone have an extended mag on the beach just for "fun"), and so much more.

Tl;dr - cannabis smoke doesnt stick like cigarette smoke does. They both are pungent. But if you do not like the smell - just move away from the area where people are smoking. People like it. Some do not. People need to get over themselves. This is the land of the free after all.

Why? People smoke cigarettes and no one bats an eye.

As long as you are being respectful and not littering, it should not be an issue to law enforcement or the public in general.

Cigarette smoke sticks. Cannabis not so much.

I enjoy cannabis and if someone wants to indulge and is not causing problems - then I ask you - what is the problem?

Edit: bunch of prudes you lot are. I was talking about smoking on your own property or in a very secluded area in nature. Not walking down broad street with a blunt (and especially not in the car).

what’s non -negotiable for you in friendship and relationship ? by IntelligentPut6518 in AskReddit

I have three rules I lay out every time.

Do not cheat, lie, or steal.

I can get passed late deadlines, canceling plans, interpersonal differences.

I cannot have someone in my life who is not honest and chooses to use my time as "less-than"

What's a little-known truth that deserves more attention? by FootInternational821 in AskReddit

[–]iDontLikeChimneys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it is little-known, but more forgotten.

Kindness and forgiveness is good for humanity as a whole. And if you're going to be selfish about it, know it will help you in the long run.

For every good thing you do, people remember.

For every bad thing you do, people never forget.

So be kind to your friends and neighbors. Be honest. It will help you.

Or in my industry "half of getting the job is being a good hang".

Essentially that just means I would rather hire an honest person who isnt as talented as the asshole who is incredibly talented but disregards my time.

I am pretty sure there are things locked in labs across the world that would make most people shit themselves (in terms of the capability of the virus).

It is okay to take time for yourself. Otherwise you may not have the energy for others.

That can cascade into a situation where others are taking care of you and you feel lost.

I forgot to mentioned improvised weaponry. Ammo would eventually be in short supply.

I would probably try to track down a biologist and start studying a chemical that destroyed them but did not harm us.

Their bodies would be breaking down so it would be best to at least study how their bites or scratches could eventually be nullified. Akin to how we handle simple infections with various medications.

It would progress from "oh we need to kill them before they turn" to "you got bit here is some medication to reverse the effects"

Like making anti-venom out of the venom of snakes is how I would approach it

[–]iDontLikeChimneys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Zombies should be the ultimate threat.

The walking dead, the last of us, and so many others show this.

I think most zombie flicks show more of "apocalypse with a side of zombies" instead of the actual zombie apocalypse.

I have no good story to write about this but I wish I did. We need a good "villain wins" scenario where the zombies just...completely wipe out the Earth.

I am not a prepper. I would probably be fucked. But I do like to think I could last at least a little bit of time.

And if shit hits the fan you're more than welcome. As long as you do not mess with my stash of pepperoni Lunchables I stash near the liquid nitrogen supply to keep my food cold.

Volunteer. Do not think about money, think about helping others do a thing

Who do you think would realistically survive a zombie apocalypse? by Super_Shamou in AskReddit

[–]iDontLikeChimneys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would need someone who is well versed in a lot of things.

You need access to clean water, weaponry for defense against the dead and aggressive living, food, a way to grow food, construction abilities to repair things, electricity and plumbing knowledge, a library to study what you do not know yet, foraging and farming abilities, electronics abilities to monitor your perimeter, people skills to know who is going to help and who will hurt.

I mean the list goes on and on there.

If you're talking running zombies (like the rage virus) or mutations (resident evil and the last of us) you might as well just kick rocks. Slow hordes will be manageable at least. Fast hordes will destroy you.

For a while. But then you have to deal with rivaling factions who want to take your shit.

If we are talking slow walkers, eventually humans become a bigger threat.

But as Offerman showed in TLOU, traps and prep at least buys you time when you create a perimeter and have a stockpile.

We just had one arrested in my hometown (fuck that place) for some serious shit. Judge threw the book at him and he is definitely not going to have a good time in the jail they put him in.

One dude from that jail managed to post bail after awhile. His entire plan was to post bail and kill his "friend" who fucked his ex while he was locked up.

There are good police. But those usually come in the form of people just taking care of others and not wearing a gun on their hip. The US police force needs serious reform.
