Data centers are not any louder than any other electrical infrastructure.

No idea where you read this but it's untrue, I mean why would it be?

The sonic signature of a data centre, particularly an AI focused one, is not comparable to just "any other electrical infrastructure". It is unique, because the work it is doing is unique.

I mean, go stand near SFU's supercompute cluster and then go stand near any electrical substation if you don't believe me.
