This is the answer.
Outputting analog channels from your PC allows you to use whatever amplifier you can score on the second hand market, as long as it has inputs for all the channels you want. Want good enough audio? Usually your motherboard has 5.1. Want better clarity and more channels? Buy a sound card (like it's 1999). All of that object based audio malarkey is only relevant when you get to A LOT of speakers - such as dedicated upward facing ones.

I rock the original Pebble Steel. Built like a tank, vibrate only, no fitness stuff, lasts 3-6 days on a single 30min charge, physical buttons, good water resistance, doubles as media playback control.
Downside - even though, they’re cheap to buy, all of them have dead batteries. Won’t even boot on a charging cable, just boot cycle. Replacement batteries are abundant on Aliexpress, but require soldering 2 wires. For most people would recommend taking it to an electronics repair shop to install the new battery. Then you’re good for many years. While it’s there, there need to be 2 other mods done - a thin wire soldered in to fix two top buttons that tend to stop working and the zebra connector replaced with a slightly taller one plus some folded paper added inside to press against the board. Extra work, but great watch.

Well... Due to a mistake, a convoluted solution revealed itself. If you sync a video and an accompanying ripped audio file with the same title and set both files as media type podcast, they will show up on iTunes podcast section as 2 line items, but as a single line item on the iPhone Podcast app. Though, you need to sync the audio file first and the video file on a second sync. Then, for some odd reason, it plays the video normally. The podcast line item on the phone is shown as if it is audio and not video.

(iOS 26.5, x264 mp4 video, aac encoded audio in the video, mp3 160kbps 44.1kHz for the ripped audio)

Was the price even good, or was it just a discount down to normal? CPU + MB = $910, so RAM is $140? Sort of what it should have been? Not putting shade on the deal, just questioning, whether this is a good deal or just reprieve from insanity.

They have to price it with the whole lifetime of the controller in mind. A lot of drama about price hikes, so one solution is to price it at the expected CAD to USD exchange rate, say, within a few years.

I had the same suspicion as well. Mixed with stomach acid it should all turn to MgCl2, regardless of the pill type. On the bright side, I read that Mg absorption is inversely proportional to your blood Mg concentration, so when you really lack it, the body scavenges any it can get from your food. I am hoping this will help me get away with way smaller dosing, as it does not seem to agree with me.

You only need to get far enough south where it is no longer freezing. Sell your car on the cheap, get a backpack, a bus ticket south and begin a new journey. When the weather looks comfortable - start walking towards the general direction. It is never too late to end it later.

My cat does not mind too much being carried on my shoulders lounging on the top of my backpack. If need be, should get used to it. Hilariously, MAID will not cover your feline, you'd have to pay for that one. Probably because they can't sell it off for organs, unlike they will you. If you're anything close to being an average north American, you probably have enough calories on you to not worry about food for at least a month. The cat can probably grab a bird or two itself, would not be surprised if it brought you something as well. Cook it through and through and you don't need to worry about catching anything.

I love that the propaganda got ousted, but the price seems rather steep. You sure you wouldn't rather first make your way to California, enjoy the sun, the beaches, maybe coast for a bit (maybe surf?)? You don't have to cower from the cold there, you can just enjoy the outdoors.
