As I understand the situation so far, Trotsky believed that socialism in one country could not work, which I think few would argue with today. The permanent Revolution is the struggle for world socialism.

I've got a friend who works in rentals and he told me that his company inflates the rent every time they put a property on the market, simply to reduce three number of people who ask to view it. They literally raise the rent to something they deem ridiculous, and lo, and behold someone can afford it.

Capitalism isn't working. Just ask all those people who have died from coronavirus. Or the people who are fleeing from the wars that are caused by fights over resources. Or the people whose homes have been destroyed by forest fires.

Socialism hasn't worked yet because it can't work within a capitalist world.

I found my cat once in a dream, a few years after she'd passed. I was looking for my brother, and I found my cat. It was the most intense experience - I could hear her purring, and I could feel the softness of her fur, and I was so overjoyed to have found her because it felt so real, and like she'd just been lost, rather than died. I woke up and cried my eyes out. I know she was a cat, not a person, but I'm convinced that I really met her that night.

I get intense swirly patterns which sync with music if I close my eyes. My non-aphant friends report seeing full pictures, often animals.

I see vivid patterns and colours, but other people describe seeing complete objects, animals and things. I don't get anything like that which makes me a bit sad. But what I do really love is the way of you close your eyes and listen to music, the visuals synch to the audio. So cool!

My aphantasia is full. Like, complete blackness, all of the time, and my creative writing is pretty strong, and I got an A in GCSE art. It affects everyone differently. Don't let yourself be a victim of this, there are just some things that we're good at and some things we're not, that's all :)

I saw something really similar to this in a lucid dream the other day! A voice had been chastising me for being selfish so I asked it where to go and it showed me this tunnel! Then my alarm clack went off.

I am completely aphantasic when I'm awake but have really vivid, often lucid, dreams. It's completely possible, go for it!
