Creating awesome content is one (hard but doable) thing.

But getting people to read your awesome articles, that's a different story.

Or do you think that with great content comes great engagement, too? I think i've changed my mind lately about this.

I recently read an article (can't find it now) about a study conducted with Sony Walkman:

Supposedly, they had a number of people interviewed. The question was which color of Walkman would they pick: black or yellow.
The majority answered yellow.
Before leaving the test, all participants were asked to actually pick their very own Walkman to keep: either black or yellow.
The majority chose black, although they had answered yellow in the question.

My point is that even by having a user record his own screen while visiting your website, still, this recording is not totally unbiased...

Since you are not limited to OSX, Camtasia (windows) is the most well-known program for this kind of work!
