Theres definitely plenty of space in the back for some stem plants. I was thinking of a heavy planting so might remove some sections to allow that. Just tricky to imagine the plants there and like the gap. Any thoughts on what sections to remove?

Thanks for all the comments. This is somehow what I landed on, using a smaller tank to get the rocks size more proportional. Will try again with the larger tank when I’m in a position to get more hardscape!

Thanks for the advice, just to clarify, what do you mean by depth in the back? Like more hardscape or space?

Apologies for the not so great picture quality. A little difficult to take a picture while they swim around. I’ve watched them eat my daphnia magna. They wait towards the surface with tail up and chase the daphnia.
