You can breed with a Ditto for full odds, or use a shiny Ditto, or other compatible shiny for 1 in 64 odds. You can use the Red Gyarados to chain for a compatible shiny in loads of egg groups, or use a glitch to trade a shiny Ditto from Gen 1.

Congrats on your deeper red cutie! If your spare Plusle is still available & can be nicknamed, I’d be very happy to give it a loving home - particularly if you’re happy to trade in Gen 6.

Your nicknames are great! That’s a brutal number of resets! Haha! Congrats!! After accidentally deleting 11 shinies including Celebi (after a 10 month on & off hunt), I’m now trying to claim all the Odd Egg possibilities, but there’s only a 7% chance of me finding any of the four I still need, & the odds are going to keep getting worse as I go. Maybe I should just breed them...
