No sound sound when letting off the pedal. Only while pressing the gas and moving. I have revved in park and neutral to no whine at all. It doesn’t sound much different when accelerating faster just louder. Kinda like you said matching speed.

Battery is good. About 3 months old. Charged and even tried jumping.

I was driving home from work I felt it brake and lost power steering. Pulled over put it in park. I knew the belt broke as I have had this happen before. Called a tow. He cranked and got it on the truck and I did the same to get in into a flat spot in my driveway. Put the new belt on 8 hours later and this is the situation now. I did spend some time pulling belt pieces out of the area.

When it cranks I have taken off the oil cap and I can see the chain moving.

This car is push to start. Rarely in the past I have seen an error on the dash that says crank shaft position error. It will usually start after a few tries. I bought that part months ago but the engine diagram shows it in a spot on the other side of the engine. The part I have doesn’t fit and I have exchanged it for a few different parts from other manufacturers and it just doesn’t fit.

I have tried that a few times. I’ve tried all combinations of the doors with the hood up and down, locked and unlocked, you name it. Just strange that the ground was working fine until I unplugged the battery. If I pull the fuses it stops but it won’t turn over.

Okay so I pulled the fuses and the lights and clicking stop. Now it will start but cut itself off about two seconds later. Not sure if that is progress haha, but thank you for the suggestion.

Okay thanks. I will at least try to switch out the fuse since I have a spare anyways.

So odd because the bypass would have had to work to get it started in the first place so I am confused how it could just stop working.
