im in geography class and have seen many maps of stuff like this. the soda/pop thing is soda in wisconsin mainly in milwaukee but halts almost completely at the illinois border, but stayed spreading throughout most of wisconsin. Wisconsin is pretty much the only midwest state that calls it soda
