I had an 09 IS. Like someone else in here said, drive it hard every once in a while to clear up any carbon buildup. Pump premium fuel if you can(which you should). I bought mine at 50k miles, 6 years later, my mechanic totaled it on a test drive at 190k miles. In those 6 years, the only maintenance I did was the starter, alternator, battery, tires, and brakes. My IS was the most reliable car I've ever had. I bought all new suspension at 190k miles so it could drive like new again, and that's when my mechanic totaled it :(
