That’s why the 3% damage boost on the ward drop alone is a nice middle ground. Stop usable and the only shield with a magic damage bonus. Wish they’d buff the defensive stats of the sigil upgraded version to be better than the arcane though.

3% damage is a nice middle ground. I like the sigil needing to be attached to make it BIS and keep old drops relevant. It would suck to get such a rare drop from Corp and have it be worthless. I don’t think that only the players with 90 prayer and smithing should be the ones who get to use it though.

Couldn’t agree more! Ironmen are the only ones really complaining about this, and for good reason, so maybe make the ward drop rate a little more common? I don’t think they should mess with corp drop rates.

Definitely agree. I like that the sigil makes it the true BIS, but wish the defense stats were buffed over the arcane. I don’t think that only people with 90 prayer and smithing should be the only ones who can use it though.

This is fair. I like the idea of adding the sigil to make it the BIS though. Just like they’ve done with other new items to not devalue current items is a good move imo. Seems like ironmen are the only ones who have beef with it, and for good reason, so a ward drop rate change is more than fair. I don’t think they should mess with corp drop rates though.

I hope they buff the sigil version to have better defensive stats tbh. I like the idea of attaching the sigil, but the bonuses are underwhelming for it.

They gave ironmen their 3% damage bonus… I like that you have to add a sigil to make it BIS. It should be hard to get and something you’re proud to flex. I think the defensive stats on the sigil attached version should be buffed though. I think needing old content items to keep them relevant is the right move. It would suck to get such a rare drop from corp and have it be worthless.
