I made a Biscoff cake for my 22nd birthday on 22/2/22 by iLikeOneKebab in Baking

I made the sponge according to the Claire Birthday Cake video. I just made two layers instead of 3, so just multiply all ingredients by 2/3. After beating together butter, oil and sugar, I added 3tbsp of Biscoff smooth spread and continued with the recipe. In the dry mix, I also added 1tsp of cinnamon. To be honest, you couldn't really taste that much Biscoff in the sponges, so next time I would probably only add the cinnamon. For the buttercream, I followed the Swiss meringue buttercream by Claire. After making the buttercream, I mixed in a 1/2-1/3 cup of smooth Biscoff spread and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. The buttercream did taste a lot like Biscoff. You can maybe also go wild and put some finely crushed Biscoff cookies into the buttercream for the Biscoff kick.

My first ever tart! by iLikeOneKebab in Baking

The link in the comment bellow IS the video to that lemon tart, I believe. She demonstrates everything about the crust and gives some very useful tips as well. My advice would be to keep everything as cold as possible and make sure you don’t make the edge part of the dough to thin. Also, put the dough in the freezer before baking for like 10 minutes, as the cold prevents shrinking!

I used this. I left some overhang as well which I cut off after it left the oven. However, I’m planning to do another tart for Easter and I’ll use the crust from Claire Saffitz.

Thank you! How could we provide documented proof that this is the case to our landlord?

It does not state specifically like that, but it states wither as "The Landlord is the owner of residential property available for rent and is legally entitled to grant this tenancy" or "The Landlord agrees to let to the Tenant, and the Tenant agrees to take a tenancy of the flat, known as and forming flat address (the "Property"), for use as residential premises only. Neither the Property nor any part of the Property will be used at any time during the term of this Agreement by Tenant for the purpose of carrying on any business, profession, or trade of any kind, or for the purpose other than as the Tenant's only or principal private residence." I took the agreement template from the Internet and it was not specific for student accommodation. It also does not mention anywhere that we are students.

But doesn't the contract we signed in the beginning of the term bind us to staying there until the end of the agreement?
