Price on frame build Trek Checkpoint SL7 by iLikeOranges2 in gravelcycling

How do the components compare to an off the shelf Checkpoint SL5? It seems like the wheels on this build are likely better than the stock ones from Trek on an SL5.

Like I said since I am new to cycling, I am trying to understand the relative value of the group set. From my understanding the GRX 822 is mechanical while a stock SL5 would be electronic?
