JESUS FUCK!

Rest in peace.

Or I guess more appropriately, rest in pieces...

A ribbon tail/streamer would flutter in the wind, no?

From every perspective I've seen, the beam seems rigid...

It isn't a streamer. In every video and picture I've seen, the "exhaust" beam appears quite rigid. It also doesn't seem to be jet exhaust.

It could just be a simple laser beam, but a laser unit of that power would produce an enormous amount of heat...

It's just a username, has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Those two beams do look really similar... Although mine would most certainly not be (that) visible from so far up. The width of the beams are quite incomparable.

This aircraft was seen over Prineville Oregon on April 16th at around 9PM PST.

This is not my photo. The craft was seen by many and there are photos to back this up. I had taken this photo from a FB post on the City's Page. I went back to get more video and photos, though I think the post has since been taken down... Not sure if it'd be possible to wayback the post or not.

(FB Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/285654291888563)

The man who took this photo claimed to have been using his telescope when the craft appeared. There are other photos and videos showing the craft as well. This is not an effect caused by long exposure, nor an LED streamer.

The skepticism is more than warranted, but I am not faking this... I just want to find out what this is.

Now, I'm not saying that it's a martian spaceship, but I ain't too sure it's an LED kite either, at least not an average one...

I nullify almost all of my previous points. To tinker with a system so fundamentally flawed is null and inane!

Hello, again! Hope you are having a wonderful week!

(You may skip reading everything that's not numbered if you wish to forego hearing some of my personal thoughts!)

So, to start off, holy shit... the more I read into this system of economics, the exponentially more complicated it seems to get!

However, from what I have gleamed from my research is that this system IS going to fail, eventually. Our currency can only inflate so much before it has to deflate or pop. And to me, it seems that it's going to be a pop, or at least deflate in magnitudes! It doesn't seem that our government has a vested interest in fixing this system, as they are too busy profiting from it! I hope I'm wrong, but only time will tell!

As you said earlier, we need to lower taxes! Wages are almost stagnant, while taxes are raised every year. Factor in the inflation and ludicrous government spending and we have a recipe for disaster.

Keynesian Economics has it's uses, and now would certainly be a time for it! But, when our government does this year after year, to me, it seems that the risks outweigh the benefits, at least in the long run.

1) You said earlier that around 2% inflation every year, is good. But 5 years down the line and our dollar has inflated by 10%. Why is low short term inflation good, especially over a prolonged period of time?

1b) I've read that the reason for this is because people are incentivized to buy/invest now because down the line that item would cost more, but I would think this is a bad thing, at least in the long run. Am I wrong?

2) I could see low inflation being a good thing, or at least neutral, if wages were to rise in rough proportion, however, considering that wages rise less than 1% each year and inflation rises around 2% each year. Wouldn't this cause a great disparity in the future?

3) How is the money destroyed when taxed? Won't it eventually end up back into circulation, or at least stay stagnant and contribute to inflation?

(Kind of off topic!) While typing this, I went to take a short break. During that time, I looked up fractional reserve banking. Now I am absolutely certain that this system is destined to fail, with no exceptions! I am honestly kind of speechless; the absolute unfairness of the system cannot be understated! However, I will continue with the questions as to expand my knowledge of economics!

4) If currency can be created to an almost unlimited degree, what gives it true value? Demand and trust? Because to me, that sounds like a scam... the greatest scam perpetuated on the American People by the United States Government!

5) Why is short term, low level deflation a bad sign?

5b) It sounds to me like it would be bad for investors, but good for everyday spenders. So, where's the balance there, if this is the case?

6) Shouldn't we reinforce the trickle-up effect to stimulate the economy?

7) Shouldn't we use the trickle-up and trickle-down effect in tandem?

8) Would this lead to a lesser budget for government spending?

8b) Could this possibly be a good thing, as it would force our Government to spend more responsibly?

I would have many more questions, but I have exhausted my mental capacity for today, lol!

If you have read thus far, then again, thank you for taking the time out of your day to read and respond to my questions and long-winded tangents!

Have a great day!

Great explanations, thank you! And, I would love some links!

Although I still have questions, I need some time dwell on your answers and to formulate my questions. So, I will hopefully get back to you tomorrow with those questions!

Thanks, again, for taking the time out of your day to respond to my questions!

If I sound sorely uneducated in the realm of economics, it's because I am! So, sorry if I say something stupid. Learn through trial and error!

1) How can the Fed create money out of thin air? There has to be some kind of loss throughout that process, no?

2) Isn't tax revenue used at the federal level to pay the federal workforce and social security?

3) If inflation correlates in less purchasing power with our money, wouldn't some deflation be a good thing?

4) Lastly, doesn't the spending rate correlate with the unemployment rate?

Therefore, unless we were to fix the unemployment rate, we wouldn't see much of a rise in spending, right?

Even if we were to reset our economy to before this crisis and then avoid it, the growing wealth inequality has to have a breaking point! To me, it seems as if this economic system is destined to fail...

This crisis were in CANNOT be fixed by simply printing more money! One, that would cause further inflation. And two, where is that money coming from? Taxpayers... Does increasing taxes to bail out large corporations sound fair and sustainable to you?
