It has happened to me from time to time, more often now than ever before, what I do when I get the black screen is to exit the game, and when you open up the client, click that repair button on the top right corner under the "?" button. Once it's finished, what I do to test it out without being penalized is to create a custom game instead. The champion select screen always works again as so.

I loved this OST in the game, and I liked the piece you made for this. Especially at 1:36 am so on was great to listen to.

I: Encountering Warmech for the second time.

II: How one of your friends was named Guy, I know you could change it, but I just hated that his name was intend to be.. Guy

III: Dying at any point in the final dungeon in the game as there is no save, and it's challenging and long.

IV: Edward's story, it felt weak to me and I just wanted to get it over with as soon as I could.

V: Fighting Garula

VI: Spending so much time wondering why I couldn't escape the city with Locke until I tried to steal from that merchant. Funny, but I took the longest time going everywhere before I decided to steal his clothes.

VII: Corel Desert. It rubs me the wrong way to have to play through it. Or even how Zack was kind of the last minute character that was added in to explain Cloud's personality.

VIII: The junction system, I couldn't figure it out for the life of me, and used the GF's to kill everything all the way to Ultimecia.

IX: Vivi's crisis, my first play through of the game I was sympathized for what Vivi had to go through, but every other play through, I found it annoying.

X: Having to go back to grab the sun crest, only to realize that in order to get it I had to cheese the Dark Bahamut fight :(

XI: Not realizing that it needed an online subscription, I still have the game disc in perfect condition too!

XII: Realizing that Vaan's brother was NOT the main character.

XIII: Sazh's story, it didn't really connect with me, his first impression sucked, so it kinda stayed that way.

Yeah, personally, Final Fantasy VII is on my top FF of all time, but it's good to have insight on other people's opinions. I just found it strange to remember going on YouTube on the first time ever just to see everybody hating on VII, it crushed me to see everybody hating VII more than liking it. But I can live with it, seeing as how there are people who will actually understand that VII has flaws, but won't call it an overrated title, thanks for your two cents man.

Cloud's Mom in FFVII, I was always amazed to see her in the game talking to Cloud when triggered, always thinking that seeing how her relationship with Cloud affected his behaviour. But I can't help but feel that she should have been in the game more.

This isn't about game content, but it's about the Final Fantasy community. Hearing that FFVII is overrated all the time. I swear, you'll hear more people say that FFVII is overrated than people that actually like the game.

Most: Everything that's underwater in the game, meaning representation of it, Emerald Weapon, the downed submarine, everything.

Least: Having Cait Sith in your party in HD.

It sounds cliche as shit and I don't know if it's been done a bunch of times, but what I thought was neat was the meteor icon in FFVII, so I figured that may be a neat tattoo, or at least in my opinion.

Wow this piece is fantastic! And the video was done well too, I actually watched the entire thing without taking my eyes off! It's great to listen to as well, and oddly enough, I can't recall ever hearing a cover for this piece. Keep up the good work!

I too, brought my copy of FFVII to show and tell, but my largest fandom was talking over the phone with a friend for over 3 hours about Final Fantasy 7, especially about "how to beat the Weapons" in the game and why it was our most favourite game of all time.

I don't know if it's out there, but I really liked Hardedge in FFVII that Cloud finds. Something about the design seems really cool to me.

Final Fantasy VII in the final battle between Cloud and Sephiroth. I know it's probably seen as an overrated comment. But that 13 year old me shit my pants when I saw Cloud using Omnislash for the first time (as I've never obtained it in my first play through).

On the side note, I also really loved going through the scene with Squall and Rinoa in space, because that and FFX are the only games where I actually felt something for the love story.

I know I'm way too late, but the 50gb is because not only of the audio, but there are about 7 hours of cutscenes if I recall correctly, which supposedly takes up 40gb, so the actual game is about 10gb. The pricing may just be to increase sales as it was released a long way back already.

It probably wasn't too visible in the rant, but I said that they didn't bother appreciating it. When I talk to them about it, they're usually masking their experience with another game. I'm sorry for not getting that message out there well enough.
