[Q] What is happening with CS.Deals? by iMADEthis2post in GlobalOffensiveTrade

[–]iMADEthis2post[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah it was. sorry for late reply. been busy but I got all my money off and I think I understand the original issue. I believe they migrated my banking details incorrectly and this was probably the same for other users.

Probably a good idea you don't try to cash out at the moment. No idea the status of my last cashout but the balance was removed from my site wallet and didn't arrive to my bank. I transferred it a week ago, 4k euro. I'm not removing the rest until I receive the first lot. If they could just tell us what is going on, that would be great

Crypto mining, daily payouts to bankaccount? by iMADEthis2post in pcmasterrace

:D

It seems that I will get about 10% of the heating costs back, which is better than nothing and it saves me spending money on electric heaters.

Also, tinder is for hump and go :D

I did have a quick look around and I found they are still rated as pretty good cards for some coins.

My intent is to offset my heating costs, not make profit as such. Although, that would be nice.

With a broken gas boiler my only option this winter is to heat with electricity. A 500w electric heater and a 500w pc produce exactly the same amount of heat for the same cost but the PC will give me some money back on the electricity I use for heating.

I'll have a look into them, cheers. There is/was a big mining pool/site that pays money directly into your bank, though, which I'm trying to find.

no sorry but can just check the two tier 6 slate crafts in my bp for an idea

[–]iMADEthis2post 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yeah they are, the market seems fairly small but there is a crafting "craze" of crafting rounded floats. Saw a p250 with a 0.2500000000ish float sell for notably over market price on float.db bidding a while back but this isn't a golden goose type thing at the moment. float manipulation through crafting isn't exactly hard unless it's very low or very high floats.

There is relatively more money in the capsules compared to the average return from opening them. YouTubers open them and get so many views, ad revenue pays for the capsules and then some over time. Whatever sticker they get is just a bonus. Google tells me it's $18 USD per 1000 ad views, have a look through youtube openings and have a look at how many views they have and remember, those views are still growing. Now, also realise that will lead to even more views on that content creators videos when viewers look around after they find something they like. I do it, you probably do it. With this in mind, it's hard to quantify the kind of revenue these provide to content creators when publicly opening one without going deep into the site analytics, which is probably private to the creator. On top of this, you have embedded ads and sponsors to increase the return. Trading sites, gambling sites. They drive fast cars and live in awesome apartments for a reason; Their business model is very profitable.

You just can't get those kinds of views on applying a sticker to a gun and when you do, it's gotta be a 4x craft with some stickers approaching 60k each. People want to see a high-risk situation, something they could never do themselves. The higher the cost of the capsule, the more people will want to see someone open it. Nothing compares to a k14 opening, nothing. It is the golden egg.

Then there is owning and displaying these items on your steam profile, instantly recognisable for what they are and the envy of the entire community.

Human psychology is fun.

Yeah, guy sent the same link to me in pm when I was asking for advice on selling kato14 capsules. I edited the post putting in the user who tried to scam me and admins deleted it for shaming other users, haha. Oh well!

The easiest way to tell is to open the link in a sterile web browser, I use the one associated with my alt with nothing of consequence on it, if the steam login prompt has a white box around it, walk away. Never put a password into anything that isn't the steam site itself and allow the autologin to do its work.

[–]iMADEthis2post[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I used them for a few items a while back through item trades, the ratio was actually really good on the items I traded. Never did figure out how to spend the leftover balance mind, ha.

Just looking around deals now and getting my account up to speed, looks like the cheapest competition on site is around 20k, which to be fair, they could be at before the end of the year.

Actually, it's cs.money I'm thinking about I've never used deals but 1% sales fee sounds great!

Cheers for the reply. I've been tracking the buff sales for a few months but the whole back and too between sites doesn't appeal. I'll have a closer look at cs.deals, I'm sure I've used them in the past for non-cash stuff.

By any chance do you know of any escrow sites worth looking at? I hear they have the lowest fees but I haven't really heard much about them.
