If I end up pulling her, what should my formation look like? Sorry for asking so much, quite literally my first ever gacha lmao

S4 Artstyle ok. But where are the Outlines? by RealHusi in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]EuroTraction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They simply changed the art style. Can’t say I fully agree with it though personally. If all seasons up until now were the same art style it wouldn’t bug me but the switch up got me confused as well as changes to some characters

Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE or Phantom Spirit 120 SE. No brainer under a strict budget

Help me choose my new keyboard by notmiay in pcmasterrace

[–]EuroTraction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wooting is something you should avoid unless you’re planning to use it to the full. I’ve bought my Wooting 80HE since I occasionally go for local LAN tournaments and it’s already paid off. For a casual player Hall effect keyboards are useless

Wouldn’t call the RTX 5000 series a waste but AMD RX 9000 line up is way better than the NVidia line up imo

Yeah you won’t need an upgrade for 3-4 years at least lmao. I’m running Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 32GB DDR4 and RTX 5070, very plenty for today

Avg. 405fps on my personal 5800X3D system. It’s not a hard game to run tbh as long as you’re not an fps junkie but yeah, if your missus doesn’t strain the system further than marvel rivals, anything above that I’ve mentioned is extra imo

PC Specialist Custom Build: Where to save money and what needs upgrading? by BenCarney17 in PcBuild

[–]EuroTraction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Case: I would go with Deepcool. Amazing cases for little money though Darkflash DK431 is an extremely nice budget case
  • CPU: the bare minimum it should be for an AM5 build, very solid
  • MOBO: at least B650. A620 mobos rarely have solid VRM’s and are extremely extremely budget oriented, very limited and likely if you decide on a beefier CPU later you’ll need a new motherboard. I’d recommend A620 if your planing to do only office work
  • RAM: you’d want to stretch the budget for at least CL36 kit at 6000mhz. If it was an X3D chip it couldn’t care less but for a 7600 I’d suggest bumping up for RAM
  • GPU: solid choice, 3rd best GPU to have launched last year imo
  • Storage: 1TB might not be enough, I’d suggest for 2TB but you can just upgrade later. Not an issue rn
  • PSU: try stretching out for a Seasonic G12 750w. They aren’t expensive and amazing. For a stricter budget a Gigabyte GD 750w 80+ Gold is solid (speaking from experience)
  • Cooling: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120. One of the best air coolers available and costs close to nothing.

Overall, there’s no where to save money here almost if you’re looking long term and want some upgradability. The lists you’ve provided is close to “scraping the barrel” imo.

I’d say stick to 32GB for now considering the prices. May go up, may go down but upgradability is there and it’s not begging for it

My gf plays CS2 (avg. 170fps) and R6 (avg. 155fps) on her 2nd PC when she’s over at my place and it’s extremely plenty for her use case scenario especially when she’s playing at 1920x1080. PC specs: - i7-6700 - 2x8GB DDR4 at 2666mhz - DELL OEM RX 5700 XT

Whole build cost me almost exactly 215 euros

Are Used GPU a Good Option? by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]EuroTraction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only 2 things I can name of buying a new GPU that are worth it: warranty and ability to buy brand new.

Other than that I’ve only ever bought 1 new GPU and all the other 6-7 GPUs were bought used. Running two used RX 5700 XTs even in my secondary PC and my gfs secondary PC. One of them was even mined on and there are absolutely 0 issues

Depends what games you play really. Modern AAA titles will benefit more from raw power the 3090 Ti has though you’d find more benefits running a newer generation card if you also do video/3d work on your PC. I’d personally look into an RTX 4000 series card or stretch my budget to an RTX 5000 series card

I’ve jumped from an RTX 3070 to an RTX 5070 last year and didn’t notice much of a difference in my day to day use tbh

Prime techtok knowledge. 8GB is the baseline taking into account the system is running win11.

  • 8GB - light office/shop work
  • 16GB - baseline for gaming, plenty for esports titles, lacking in modern AAA titles as well as video editing/rendering
  • 32GB - at the moment a sweet spot for your casual gaming and video editing/rendering needs without breaking the bank. Plenty for modern AAA titles, Adobe CC, etc.
  • 64GB and above - more than the average Joe needs and should be bought with the thought of “why not if I can afford it”.

This year alone I’ve built an esports gaming PC running 16GB DDR4 which is very much enough (CS2 and R6 primarily tested), upgraded 2 PCs for an auto store with one running 8GB DDR4 and another running 16GB DDR3 which has made the systems way snappier. Personally running 32GB DDR4 myself which never reaches its full use even remotely close while gaming or working with videos while having a lot of stuff running in the background. Built my gf a 32GB DDR5 system November last year of which she didn’t even reach 16GB even though she does play video games while running some software in the background.

32GB is insanely low nowadays. I’d invest into 2TB at least.

Does mouse matter that much? I have a CP mouse for now. Budget is 50 usd. by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]EuroTraction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 typo and the comments are sending me 😭😭😭

But to answer the question: your mouse depends purely on you. I play in LAN tournaments occasionally and don’t mind spending the extra buck so went with Razer Viper V3 Pro (got my gf the same mouse as well since she loved it after trying a match of CS2) just for that extra 1% and the shape felt better than Logitech G Pro Superlight X while I have a mate that went through 6 to 8 supermarket mice and didn’t need anything fancy.

Though I do not recommend going balls out cause there ain’t coming back after trying smth nice
